Erin Cross lives in Norfolk, Virginia where she works for Regent University’s Animation Department teaching drawing and design. She recieved her MFA from the NSU/ODU Joint Graduate Program of Visual Studies in 2007. She has been the recipent of the Marginalia: National Graduate Student Juried Portfolio Purchase Award, 19th Annual McNeese National Works on Paper, Bolton Ford Purchase Award, The Wild Water Rapids Research Fund from Old Dominion University as well as graduate fellowships from Norfolk State University. Her work has been exhibited at the K. Carracio Printing Studio in New York City, Vespine Gallery in Chicago, Courtland Museum of Art, Courtland, VA, and Graphic Communications Gallery at the National Library in Tallinn, Estonia. Publications include Hidden Treasure Art Magazine, Studio Visit Magazine, First Cut: Communication for Members of The Guild of American Papercutters and Discoveries Magazine (cover art). Her work has been included in the K.Caraccio Print Collection in New York, The Special Collections of the Art Museum of Estonia, and Graphic Chemical and Ink Company, Special Collections.
